1. The service
open-jobs helps you find jobs published by employers and authorised source providers. It is a directory, not an employer, recruitment agency, or party to an employment contract. These draft terms describe the current public service. The contracting operator, contact details, and applicable governing-law clause still require confirmation.
2. Listings and availability
Listings may change, expire, contain errors, or have location and eligibility restrictions. The source listing is the authoritative reference for applications, compensation, benefits, deadlines, and qualifications. A remote label does not mean a role is open in every country. Check the full source description before applying.
A source check records when data was successfully received. It is not a personal verification of the employer or a promise that hiring is still open. A direct-source badge identifies the origin of a listing; it does not mean endorsement, certification, or a guaranteed job offer.
3. Refreshes and ranking
Due feeds are checked on an hourly GitHub Actions schedule independently of visitors’ browsers or the operator’s computer. GitHub scheduling delays, runner outages or quota limits may delay a check. An authorised administrator can also request a manual refresh. Provider-specific restrictions take priority: Remotive is checked at most every six hours and Himalayas’ catalogue daily. Large catalogues sync in batches; outages, throttling, delayed source feeds, or a stopped runner can delay updates.
Recommended sorting favours direct employer sources, disclosed compensation, and useful details. Categories and experience labels may be inferred from text. Salary comparisons use the selected currency and stated pay period; open-jobs does not convert currencies or guarantee total compensation.
4. Acceptable use
You may browse, filter, and follow source links for legitimate job discovery, including through assistive technologies. Do not submit false information, impersonate employers, interfere with the service, evade access controls or rate limits, or use the service to collect personal information for spam.
open-jobs does not grant a licence to copy its entire catalogue or redistribute source listings to other job platforms. Source-specific restrictions, attribution requirements, and intellectual-property rights continue to apply. Obtain any necessary rights independently before reusing third-party content.
5. Images and intellectual property
Job descriptions, employer names, trademarks, and hiring artwork belong to their respective rights holders. open-jobs uses permitted feeds, source attribution, and links to the original listings. Names are used to identify the relevant employer or provider and do not imply a commercial relationship.
Image-only notices require documented permission and review of extracted text before publication. Unverified image text, personal social posts, inaccessible content, and generic logos are not treated as new vacancies. A hiring image attached to an existing role does not create an additional job count.
6. External websites and applications
Source and application links lead to third-party websites. Their own terms, privacy policies, and application processes apply. open-jobs does not control those websites, receive your application, promise a response, or guarantee the outcome of an application. open-jobs currently charges no fee to view or follow a listing.
Advertising
Spaces labelled Advertisement are reserved for potential advertising and currently contain no paid campaigns. An advertisement is not an endorsement of an employer or a promise of employment. Advertising placements do not change the job ranking described above. Live advertising will require a further privacy and consent review before activation.
7. Corrections and removal
If you are an employer, rights holder, or person whose information appears in a listing, you may request a correction or removal by identifying the source URL, the affected information, and the reason. Use the Contact & report form linked below. Your request is stored in a private administrator inbox; keep the reference provided after submission. Do not send candidate documents or other unnecessary personal information.
Listings may be hidden while a credible rights, accuracy, or safety concern is investigated. Missing or expired roles are removed through the source-refresh process. A removal from search does not itself delete copies held by the original provider.

8. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a useful, accurate directory but cannot promise continuous availability, completeness, suitability, or error-free information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer, employment, or data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and applicable law
The date above identifies the latest draft. Material service changes will be reflected in revised terms. The governing country and dispute-resolution details will be specified once the legal operator is confirmed; mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
